Job summary

Charger Logistics Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Claims & Litigation Paralegal – Transportation to join our in-house Legal Department. The role supports in-house counsel and outside litigation counsel across a broad U.S.

transportation-litigation portfolio. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in litigation or senior paralegal work, with strong drafting, discovery and docket-management skills, preferably in trucking/transportation contexts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation, claims or senior paralegal experience.
• Strong preference for trucking/transportation litigation or related areas.
• U.S. litigation/discovery knowledge and legal drafting ability.
• Experience with motor carrier, insurer, TPA or transportation-defence context is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support transportation litigation/claims including bodily injury and property-damage.
• Coordinate evidence preservation after accidents and collect relevant records.
• Review reports and prepare litigation chronologies.
• Draft first drafts of answers, responses, affidavits, notices, motions.
• Assist with discovery requests, subpoenas and document collection.
• Prepare exhibits, summaries and trial materials.
• Maintain litigation files, calendars and deadlines.
• Provide case summaries and monitor case strategy and expenses.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and internal departments.
