Acrisure is seeking an experienced Transportation Claims Adjuster - Property Damage to handle claims involving commercial auto and trucking exposures. The role requires investigating, evaluating coverage and damages, establishing reserves, and negotiating settlements in a collaborative, results-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong APD knowledge, multi-jurisdictional experience, and proven ability to manage complex claims in a remote or virtual setting.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of commercial auto, trucking, or transportation claims handling experience.
• Strong experience handling complex commercial transportation property damage and liability claims.
• Strong knowledge of automobile physical damage (APD) claims processes.
• Understanding of commercial auto and trucking insurance principles, including coverage, liability, reserving, negotiations, and settlements.
• Experience in a third-party administrator (TPA) environment.
• Experience managing claim inventories while maintaining quality and regulatory standards.
• Experience working in a virtual or remote environment.
• Multi-jurisdictional transportation claims experience beneficial.
• Cargo claims experience beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Investigate and manage automobile physical damage, property damage, and related liability claims.
• Evaluate coverage, liability, damages, reserves, negotiation strategy, and settlement opportunities.
• Handle physical damage and property damage claims involving specialized motor coach and trucking programs.
• Review complex or escalated claim matters and develop timely resolution strategies.
• Maintain claim diaries, documentation, reserves, and file activity throughout the life of each claim.
• Ensure claims comply with state and federal requirements across jurisdictions.
• Partner with internal teams, vendors, clients, and stakeholders on complex matters.
• Communicate with clients, insureds, claimants, vendors, and attorneys as needed.
• Negotiate settlements and support efficient, accurate resolutions.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
