Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is seeking an Alternative Project Engineer in Helena to oversee complex transportation projects using alternative delivery methods, including DBIA/CM/GC approaches.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, a Montana PE license, and 5 years of experience with at least 1 year of supervision. Hybrid options may be considered, with MDT supporting professional growth.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of progressively responsible experience including project planning, design or construction.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervision or team lead experience.
• A Montana Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• DBIA certification is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage multiple concurrent, complex transportation projects using alternative delivery methods.
• Develop, direct and monitor statewide diverse projects and contracts (DBIA, CM/GC, DB, PDB, ICE).
• Oversee consultant design projects through MDT Transportation Alternatives and/or Consultant Plans Sections.
