Job summary
Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a Transportation Manager to lead tactical and operational transport functions within a medical waste facility. You will ensure safe, efficient transport operations, maintain fleet assets, manage driver performance, and uphold DIFOT and NPS targets across the unit.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Operations Management, or related field
- 5-10 years of senior transport experience at management level
- Transport capital budgeting experience
- Experience in medical waste or related regulated industry is preferred
- Strong understanding of transport safety regulations
- Proven leadership and team development capabilities
- CDL License and driving experience highly regarded but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for transport strategy aligned with organizational objectives
- Oversee daily transport operations and optimize route planning
- Lead a safety culture and develop high-performing transport team
- Drive performance metrics including DIFOT and NPS scores
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enable growth and implement standardized processes
- Monitor KPIs and ensure compliance with transportation regulations
