University Health System in San Antonio is seeking a Clinical Transplant Coordinator II who develops and applies advanced clinical management, consultation, education and research to promote high-quality transplant patient care.

Under general supervision, this role fosters knowledge growth through research-based practice with peers, supports system policies and patient relations, and coordinates multidisciplinary teams across transplant services.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school with RN and minimum of 4 years nursing experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required or must be attained within three years of date of hire.
• Knowledge of transplant, health care trends, community and regional resources.
• Ability to establish cooperative working relationships with diverse groups and individuals, medical staff and other health care disciplines and understanding of the consultative process.
