Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or Doctorate in Nursing Practice required.
• 2 years transplant coordination experience required.
• 2 years organ procurement and 2 years critical care experience required.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical and surgical management in inpatient or outpatient settings for transplant/end-stage organ disease patients.
• Perform comprehensive history and physical exams, develop differential diagnoses, and plan of care.
• Order medications, diagnostic studies, and therapeutic procedures; track results.
• Organize patient flow from referral through evaluation, education, post-transplant follow-up, and community referral.
• Participate in interdisciplinary research related to transplant patients and process improvement.
• Attend professional meetings and maintain affiliations to stay current in transplant care.
• May participate in on-call rotations including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
