Job summary

Dashiell Corporation is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead QAQC reviews of civil and transmission line design packages and ensure compliance with NESC, IEEE, ANSI, and customer requirements.

The role focuses on quality assurance, training development, and continuous improvement in the civil/transmission engineering discipline, with a remote work setup and periodic travel to the Houston, TX area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in transmission line engineering and design.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE); licensure within one year if not in-state.
• Strong knowledge of NESC, GO 95, IEEE, ANSI, and ASTM standards.
• Proficiency with engineering software: PLS-CADD, PLS-Tower, PLS-Pole, Sag10, LPILE.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive QAQC reviews of civil and transmission line design packages.
• Conduct independent QAQC audits and maintain a detailed issues log.
• Develop and improve QAQC processes and documentation.
• Lead or support engineering issue investigations and corrective actions.
• Lead training and development of engineering staff across offices.
