Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Project Controls Manager - CP in The Woodlands, TX. This role leads schedule, cost, and risk controls for Transmission projects and collaborates with PMs to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in capital project management or project controls, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, and strong knowledge of Primavera P6, Acumen Fuse, and Power BI. Travel up to 25% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management (or related field) OR 8 years equivalent/related work experience.
• 6 years minimum capital project management and/or project control experience with project controls focus.
• Expert knowledge of scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
• Working knowledge of scheduling software packages and related analytics.
• Strong Excel and data analytics skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Desired: PMP/PgMP, Risk Management Certification, and P6 Certification

Responsibilities

• Provide overarching controls support to Transmission PMs and teams; review deliverables and governance.
• Implement project controls processes per standards and practices.
• Collaborate with PMs to assess schedule progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Guide schedule, cost adherence, change management, and reporting analysis.
• Lead monthly Project Controls review sessions using Power BI dashboards.
• Ensure documentation meets Stage Gate requirements and perform ad hoc analyses.
