Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field as required.
13 years of experience in electrical engineering or closely related area.
Knowledge of NERC and WECC reliability standards is desired.
Experience with transmission planning studies or large interconnection projects.
Familiarity with load-flow programs and system analysis tools.

Responsibilities

Basecase Preparation: lead development of load forecasts and modelling methodology.
Transmission System Studies: conduct and lead studies, coordinate multi-department efforts.
Project Implementation: manage inter-regional coordination, CPCN and permitting aspects.
Compliance and Regulatory: assist audits and serve as liaison in regulatory matters.
