Job summary

ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer in Pensacola, FL for high- and extra-high-voltage transmission projects. You will provide senior technical expertise across line routing, structure design, surveying, and permitting, while coordinating with vendors and stakeholders.

The role requires a PE license, a Bachelor's in Engineering, and 8+ years of electric utility transmission experience. Hybrid workplace with strong safety and teamwork culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
• 8+ years of transmission line engineering experience in electric utility is required.
• Experience using PLS-CADD for transmission line design is required.
• Strong knowledge of NESC, IEEE, ASCE, and ACI codes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and approve PLS-CADD criteria.
• Schedule project tasks for the project support team.
• Attend client stakeholder meetings and design reviews.
• Mentor/train other engineering team members.
• Collaborate in internal design review meetings.
