Job summary

EDM International, Inc. is seeking a T-Line Inspector/Observer to oversee construction of contracted projects on-site in Boise, Idaho.

The role requires inspecting field operations, ensuring work aligns with drawings and specifications, and maintaining daily inspection reports. Ideal candidates have extensive line work experience in transmission and substations, proficiency in MS Office, ArcGIS, and Procore, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of line work in transmission, distribution, or substation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to perform web-based tasks.
• Proficient in Project Management applications (e.g., Procore) and ArcGIS programming.
• Basic understanding of field mobile applications (e.g., ArcGIS, Field Maps).

Responsibilities

• Inspect all project-associated field operations as required.
• Create and maintain detailed inspection reports daily.
• Interact professionally with Contractors by providing clear, accurate, and timely communications.
• Review discrepancies with appropriate parties.
• Observe concrete and soil field tests as needed.
• Maintain all contract documents, necessary permits, and updated drawings.
• Ensure a safety-conscious work environment and initiate corrective action, as necessary.
