You will collaborate with engineers and vendors, lead client meetings, and ensure scope and design deliverables align with project constraints.

The position requires 7+ years in the field, a PE license, and strong proficiency with PLS tools, along with travel as needed. California base salary ranges attractively with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Engineering; PE licensure required.
• Minimum seven years of related transmission engineering experience.
• Technical lead on projects with quality reviews experience.
• Experience with 69kV–500kV line design and PLS family software.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Plan, analyze, and design transmission line projects across utilities.
• Lead meetings with clients, stakeholders, and contractors.
• Prepare plans, specs, and design packages for transmission line projects.
• Support permitting and licensing requirements.
• Perform quality reviews and ensure deliverables meet company design practices.
• Mentor staff and contribute to business development.
