Zusammenfassung

M&S Engineering, LLC is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer in Spring Branch, Texas to work on dynamic High Voltage and Extra High Voltage AC/DC transmission line projects, including potential renewable energy infrastructure.

Your responsibilities include detailed design from conceptual through construction (4kV–500kV) and underground line design (69kV–230kV). A Texas PE is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of applicable post-graduation design experience.
• P.E. license in the State of Texas, preferred.
• Ability to inform design process based on previous experience with similar projects.
• Familiar with codes/standards for US transmission lines (NESC, CPUC, ASCE, RUS).
• Ability to multi-task from project to project.

Aufgaben

• Detail engineering and design of overhead transmission line projects from conceptual design through construction (4kV to 500kV).
• Detail design of underground transmission line projects from 69kV to 230kV.
• Prepare detail cost estimates and opinions of probable cost with limited details.
• Prepare construction and material specifications and scope documents for tenders and contracts.
• Liaise with clients and contractors, coordinate with disciplines and permitting agencies.
• Serve as project engineer and/or project manager as required.
