Job summary

Qualifications

• 4-year ABET-accredited engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical.
• 5+ years of post-graduation design experience in transmission projects.
• Texas P.E. license preferred; driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Detail engineering and design of overhead transmission lines from concept to construction (4kV–500kV).
• Detail design of underground lines (69kV–230kV) and prepare cost estimates.
• Prepare construction specs and tender documents, liaise with clients and contractors.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines and regulatory agencies to meet deadlines.
• Potential to serve as project engineer/manager as needed.
