Job summary

You will supervise discipline work, manage project schedules and budgets, and provide technical direction for complex problems; PE is preferred with strong client communication and staff mentorship.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Structural or Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 5+ years of electrical utility transmission line design experience (69kV+).
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) preferred; NCEES record.
• Working knowledge of NESC, ASCE, ACI and IEEE standards.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and lead junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership and guidance on complex problems.
• Plan, estimate, schedule, and monitor work activities.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and drawings.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and project proposals.
• Oversee junior staff and mentor designers/drafters.
• Collaborate with other design disciplines and construction teams.
