Job summary

Saber Power Services, based in Houston with projects nationwide, seeks a Construction Manager – Line to lead transmission/distribution line construction efforts in complex environments. You will coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and project resources to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget execution.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with transmission projects (69kV–765kV) and strong leadership, planning, and communication skills. Travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of transmission and/or distribution line construction experience.
• Experience with transmission projects from 69kV through 765kV.
• Experience managing electrical line construction projects and field personnel.
• Strong knowledge of transmission and distribution construction methods, equipment, materials, and sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall field leadership for transmission and distribution line construction projects.
• Plan and coordinate construction activities, manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and project resources.
• Lead Superintendents, General Foremen, Foremen, line crews, subcontractors, and other field personnel.
• Oversee overhead and underground transmission and distribution construction, including new construction, rebuilds, upgrades, and relocations.
• Manage line construction activities including foundations, pole/structure installation, stringing, sagging, splicing, grounding, OPGW/shield wire installation.
