Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in the state of Florida and PMP certification are preferred.
• Minimum six (6) years of related experience in the electric power or related industry with design, modeling, loading and stress analysis, construction, or project management at 100kV and above.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and/or supports activities in project planning, development, engineering, construction planning, execution, and closeout.
• Provides technical work directions to lower-level engineers and oversight of contractors.
• Works within and across teams to influence technical solutions and manages projects to timely completion.
• Interprets contract requirements for transmission equipment, engineering, and construction services.
• Prepares engineering progress reports and performs calculations and studies to support project scope.
• Leads multidisciplinary project teams to complete development, detailed engineering and construction planning.
