Job summary

Stellantis NV in Auburn Hills, MI seeks a Transmission Calibration Engineer responsible for developing customer driving experience and optimizing fuel economy across transmission control strategies.

You will work with in-vehicle test instrumentation and ETAS-INCA, perform Matlab data analysis, collaborate with global teams, and travel to Chelsea Proving Grounds to validate calibrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace or automotive engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in Automotive Powertrain Calibration.
• Experience with INCA/CANalyzer toolsets.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Matlab scripting and other useful data processing languages/tool sets.
• Willingness to work with global teams.
• Ability to travel domestic and international as needed.
• English: Advanced.

Responsibilities

• Develop calibration methodologies and tools to support analysis and verification.
• Deliver high quality calibrations from start to finish of new programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to meet program requirements.
• Perform in-vehicle testing and data analysis using Matlab.
• Travel for field testing and validation at Chelsea Proving Grounds and other locations.
