Job summary

TS Conductor Corp. is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to apply our overhead conductor technology in transmission projects. You will bridge between TS Conductor, utilities, engineers, consultants, EPCs, and customers, providing technical recommendations and support throughout the project lifecycle.

You will review designs, perform conductor evaluations, assist with field installation training, and help translate field and customer feedback into product improvements. Travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Civil/Structural, Mechanical, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience supporting overhead transmission or distribution projects.
• Strong understanding of overhead conductor applications and transmission line design principles.
• Experience with utilities, transmission engineering firms, EPCs, or conductor/manufacturer application engineering preferred.
• Familiarity with transmission line design and analysis tools such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, SAG10 is highly desirable.
• Experience with conductor installation practices and field support desirable.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts in practical terms.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical application support for TS Conductor products on transmission and distribution projects.
• Review designs, loading, clearances, structures, and conductor requirements.
• Perform conductor evaluations including ampacity, sag-tension, and thermal performance.
• Communicate technical concepts in business terms to customers.
• Support field installation training and on-site demonstrations.
• Develop engineering reports, product documentation, and application guides.
