Job summary

TS Conductor seeks a Senior Product Development Engineer to develop, qualify, and support hardware and stranding partnerships for overhead transmission conductor solutions. This is a hands-on, cross-functional engineering role covering hardware partner development and qualification, international stranding partnerships, product testing, supplier quality, and field installation support.

The successful candidate will work closely with hardware manufacturers, conductor manufacturing partners,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of engineering experience in overhead transmission or related hardware.
Experience with hardware development, testing, and qualification processes.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain technical relationships with hardware partners.
Lead hardware solution development including clamps, fittings and related components.
Define qualification programs and coordinate lab testing and field trials.
Review test results, identify root causes, and drive design improvements.
Develop QA/QC requirements and supplier qualification activities.
Coordinate with sales, operations and partners for qualified product packages.
Provide onsite installation support and technical training as needed.
Apply IEEE, ASTM, ANSI/NEMA, IEC standards to product development.
