Qualifications
- Significant experience developing translational/clinical biomarker strategies.
- Expertise in cardiovascular/metabolic, infectious diseases or vaccines.
- Ability to translate hypotheses into biomarker strategies that inform development decisions.
- Strong understanding of mechanism of action, biology, pharmacology and endpoints.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional work in a matrixed environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead integrated biomarker strategies across CVM and ID/Vaccines programs.
- Translate disease biology and therapeutic mechanism into translational hypotheses.
- Influence key development questions: proof of biology, target engagement, dose, patient stratification.
- Lead interpretation of biomarker and clinical data into actionable recommendations.
- Mentor biomarker scientists and contribute to a collaborative organization.
- Support publications, scientific presentations, and external collaborations.
