Job summary

Gilbane is seeking a Senior Transition Manager to lead the implementation and execution of project activities on multiple transition projects within the TPM division. You will guide teams, manage budgets, and drive strategy while collaborating with business development.

You will travel up to 60% and sometimes work evenings or weekends to meet project needs, bringing strong communication and leadership to a high-performing group.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in logistics or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• 10-15 years of project management experience, including 3-5 years of consulting experience.
• Knowledge of TPM market sectors and strong leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients at all levels with clear and concise communication.
• Recruit, train and manage project staff and resources.
• Delegate responsibilities and oversee work on multiple complex projects.
• Build and manage project financial reports to maximize savings.
• Facilitate planning and scheduling sessions for large complex projects.
• Develop and maintain master plans, reports, budgets and tools.
• Identify risks and mitigate exposure.
• Cultivate client and industry relationships and support business development.
• Lead career development and coaching of team members.
• Foster a positive, inclusive work environment.
• Translate organizational strategy to team actions.
• Collaborate with sales to align with client outcomes and metrics.
