Job summary

American Training in Lowell, MA is seeking a Lead Community Support Colleague to run the day-to-day operations of our Transition Program serving individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, and related needs.

The role focuses on implementing positive behavioral supports, writing and following support plans, data recording, and guiding groups with a team of clinical and administrative staff to promote independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum HS diploma; Bachelor's degree or behavioral certifications preferred.
• Experience in developmental disabilities field and working with challenging behaviors is desired.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to stay calm in crises.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct day-to-day activities of the Transition Program.
• Collaborate with ISP team to set goals and develop plans for Guests.
• Implement clinically sound support plans and supervise interventions.
• Write detailed incident reports and ensure timely reporting to clinicians.
• Assist with community schedules, data collection, and program documentation.
