Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Transit Analyst to join our San Francisco team. You will act as a technical consultant for major transit projects, applying multidisciplinary engineering knowledge to analyze signals, track, and related systems.

Responsibilities include developing design specifications, cost estimates, schedules and cutover plans, while guiding junior staff and coordinating with project controllers to meet budgets and timelines. A PE license or equivalent experience is expected.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Engineering preferred; 7 years since Bachelor’s or 6 years since Master’s, or 11+ years in lieu of degree.
• Thorough knowledge of a major transit signal system.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent technical writing and communications abilities.
• Professional engineer license or substantial equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical consultant for major transit system projects.
• Apply theory and experience to multi-discipline transit projects with high technical complexity; make design recommendations.
• Guide production of signal drawings, specifications, reports, cost estimates, schedules and cutover plans.
• Manage project scope, schedule and budget; provide milestone reporting.
• Collaborate on hiring pursuits, project growth and staff development.
