AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Transit Analyst to provide technical expertise in transit systems, signaling design, specifications, and performance analysis in San Francisco, CA. You will guide design work, develop reports, and manage scope, schedule and budget while driving QA/QC across projects.

Ideal candidates bring 11+ years of transit experience, PE licensure or equivalent, and strong writing/communication skills for technical audiences.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Engineering preferred; 7+ years experience may substitute.
• Thorough knowledge of a major transit signal system.
• Strong writing and communications skills demonstrated in technical work.
• Licensure as a Professional Engineer or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical consultant for major transit system projects.
• Apply theory and experience in multi-discipline transit design with cost-effective decisions.
• Guide preparation of signal drawings, specs, reports, and schedules.
• Manage project scope, schedule and budget with milestone reporting.
• Support hiring pursuits, project growth, and team development.
• Coordinate with project controllers and managers to meet goals.
• Implement QA/QC procedures on transit projects.
