Job summary

KPG99 INC in Newark, NJ, seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead station architectural finishes on major transportation projects. You will oversee finishes from rough-in to turnover, coordinate with MEP, civil, and structural teams, and ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence in active facilities.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years of supervisory experience in transit or large-scale construction, familiarity with NYC practices, and success coordinating multiple subcontractors and unions

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of supervisory experience in large construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily work with MEP, systems, structural and civil teams.
• Oversee station finish activities from rough-in to turnover.
• Develop and manage short-term look-ahead schedules for finishes.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and field activities.
• Monitor manpower, production rates and subcontractor performance.
• Maintain project schedule milestones and recovery plans when required.
• Conduct regular quality-control inspections and ensure standards compliance.
• Verify testing, closeout documentation and as-built requirements.
