Job summary

Tutor Perini Corporation in Newark is seeking a Superintendent - Station Finishes for the Newark AirTrain project. You will plan, coordinate, and supervise all station finish work, interfacing with project management, subcontractors, and inspectors to keep the work safe, on schedule, and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in superintendent roles on transit or infrastructure projects, with a strong ability to read plans and manage multiple subcontractors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of superintendent/supervisory experience with a GC.
• Experience on transit, railroad, airport, transportation, infrastructure, or large commercial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, schedules, RFIs, and submittals.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all station finish activities from rough-in through final completion.
• Coordinate installation of tile, stone, metal panels, drywall, doors, signage, and finishes.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and daily field activities.
• Maintain project schedule milestones and implement recovery plans when required.
• Ensure work complies with contract documents and safety policies.
