Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 7+ years of construction management experience, with at least 3 years in transit, rail, or heavy civil infrastructure.
• Experience overseeing field construction in active or operational transit environments.
• Familiarity with public-sector procurement, FTA guidelines, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities for transit projects.
• Manage contractors, inspectors, and field personnel to ensure safety and quality.
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals; resolve field conflicts.
• Coordinate with transit operations, safety, and third-party partners to minimize service impacts.
• Conduct site inspections to verify progress and environmental compliance.
• Track schedule, support cost control, and prepare progress reports.
• Lead change orders, claims, and risk mitigation discussions.
• Facilitate construction meetings and maintain project records.
• Uphold federal, state, and local regulations including FTA when relevant.
• Promote safety culture and continuous improvement.
