Job summary
Sanford Health in Eau Claire, WI invites a Senior Consulting Technologist to support transfusion services and regulatory issues across laboratories in designated territory. The role involves working with enterprise laboratory committees to drive standardized process improvements and ensuring inspections for CAP, CLIA, COLA, AABB, and Joint Commission readiness.
This position is based in Marshfield, WI and supports laboratories within the Sanford Health-Marshfield Region, with travel as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science is required.
- Five years’ laboratory experience in a hospital or clinic laboratory preferred.
- Three years of laboratory leadership or consulting technologist experience required.
Responsibilities
- Consult and provide guidance regarding transfusion services, technical and regulatory issues for laboratories in designated territory.
- Assist laboratory leadership to prepare for inspections related to accreditation (CAP, CLIA, COLA, AABB, Joint Commission).
- Develop relationships to build and maintain the client base and travel to laboratory sites as needed.
