Job summary
Sanford Health, Marsh Med Ctr Weston in Weston, WI, seeks a Senior Consulting Technologist to guide transfusion services, ensure regulatory compliance, and support laboratory operations across designated sites. Based in Marshfield, WI, you may travel to various laboratory sites to lead quality, methods, and instrument performance initiatives.
The role requires CAP/CLIA/ACCOLA/AABB knowledge, ASCP MT/MLS certification, and a strong background in laboratory leadership and consulting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science is required.
- Five years’ laboratory experience in a hospital or clinic laboratory.
- Three years of laboratory leadership or consulting technologist experience.
- Must be ASCP MT/MLS registered; ND licensure if ND.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance on transfusion services, technical and regulatory issues for laboratories in designated territory.
- Collaborate with enterprise laboratory committees and client list to drive standardized process improvements.
- Assist leadership in preparing for inspections for accreditation (CAP, CLIA, COLA, AABB, Joint Commission).
- Travel to laboratory sites as needed; base in Marshfield, WI; support laboratories within the Sanford Health Marshfield Region.
