Job summary

Frost Law, a growing Annapolis-based firm, seeks an experienced attorney to lead and expand its business transactional practice. You will draft and negotiate contracts, advise clients, and drive growth while mentoring junior attorneys and paralegals.

This role requires a JD, active bar status, and 5+ years in corporate/transactional law, with strong negotiation and business acumen. Opportunity to shape the department’s future within a renowned national practice.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school with active bar admission.
• 5+ years of corporate and transactional law experience, preferably in a law firm or in-house team.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage junior attorneys and staff.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in growing a practice area within an established firm.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts and deals.
• Advise stakeholders on risks and business terms in corporate transactions.
• Lead and support M&A activities including due diligence and deal structuring.
• Ensure compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and HR teams.
