Job summary

Saffery LLP is seeking an experienced Transaction Tax Senior Manager in London to lead senior engagements across M&A, reorganisations, refinancing and structuring. The role focuses on advising clients across sectors and ownership structures, managing complex engagements and developing the transaction tax offering.

Qualifications

• ACCA/CTA qualified with substantial corporate tax experience.
• Strong technical corporate tax knowledge for complex transactions.
• Experience managing client relationships and leading engagements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal partners to shape go-to-market strategy for transaction tax.
• Advise on acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and refinancing projects.
• Consult on tax implications of deal structures and due diligence.
• Provide transaction support through the deal lifecycle including structuring and execution.
• Develop relationships with corporate clients and key stakeholders.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team development.
• Support HMRC interactions as required.
