Job summary

UHY is one of the nation’s largest professional services firms providing audit, tax, consulting and advisory services to clients primarily in the dynamic middle market. We are seeking a financial due diligence analyst to support buy-side and sell-side engagements, collect data, perform analyses and prepare reports for clients.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in accounting or finance and 2–3 years of related experience; CPA designation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required with strong academic performance.
• 2–3 years of audit/corporate finance/transaction advisory experience.
• CPA designation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Execute financial due diligence (buy-side and sell-side) engagements in collaboration with senior team members.
• Collect financial information from the target business and manage the diligence request list.
• Perform financial analyses including margin, trend, price-volume, cash proofs, and data reconciliations.
• Prepare key analyses (Quality of Earnings, Net Working Capital, Debt & Debt-Like) and write client reports.
• Cultivate client relationships through advisory work and provide mentorship to junior staff.
• Participate in management discussions and support delivery of findings to clients.
