Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Senior Signature/Data Analyst to join the Missile Defense Agency Targets and Countermeasures program. You will support debris model development, trajectory analysis, and on-site mission support, delivering rapid data products and technical briefings.

The role requires advanced degrees with extensive experience, an interim secret clearance, and strong communication skills to work both independently and with a team in a high-stakes defense environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 12+ years of experience or BA/BS with 20+ years in lieu.
• Interim Secret security clearance required.
• Experience in at least two of: trajectory/kinematic simulation, EO/IR sensor exploitation, RF sensor exploitation, geodesy.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support development, integration, analysis, and documentation of target analysis products for pre/post-mission activities for MDA Flight Tests.
• Plan test activities and assignments to support mission objectives.
• Contribute to target vehicle trajectories, flight scenarios, and debris scenes.
• Deploy for test missions and produce data products like BET and Quick-look briefs within 24 hours.
• Participate in design reviews and readiness activities, providing analysis and recommendations.
• Prepare technical reports and briefings on Flight Test Targets.
