Job summary

MTSI is seeking a Senior Modeling Target Performance Analyst to support the MDA Targets and Countermeasures program, including solid fuel debris model development and validation, pre-flight and post-flight trajectory analysis, and on-site mission support.

The role requires a Master’s with 12+ years (or a Bachelor’s with 20+ years) and an active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one, plus experience in trajectory simulation, EO/IR and RF sensor exploitation, and geodesy.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 12+ years of experience or bachelor’s degree with 20+ years’ experience.
• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Experience in 2 of the following: Trajectory/kinematic simulation, EO/IR sensor exploitation, RF sensor exploitation, geodesy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well alone and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Support development, integration, analysis, and documentation of target analysis products for pre-mission and post-mission activities for all MDA Flight Tests.
• Develop and sustain RF/IR analytical tools and techniques.
• Produce representative signatures of systems under test and deliver data packages to mission partners for flight tests.
• Plan test activities and provide recommendations for team assignments to support mission activities.
• Prepare technical reports/briefings on various technical aspects of Flight Test Targets.
