Applied Research Solutions is seeking a Senior Training Systems Engineer to support AFLCMC programs at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The role covers acquisition, development, integration, sustainment, and training systems across the weapon system lifecycle, interfacing with government, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure program execution and OSS&E compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be US Citizen.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Experience with systems engineering principles and lifecycle management.
• Experience with requirements development, technical reviews, and configuration management.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and government stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering and technical support across acquisition, development, sustainment, modernization, and training systems for USAF programs.
• Support IPTs with OSS&E analysis, requirements development, and technical decision support.
• Review ECPs, RFVs, configuration baselines, and ICDs.
• Participate in CCBs, technical interchanges, design reviews, IPRs, and program reviews.
• Translate operational needs into system and subsystem requirements; support architecture development and trade studies.
• Support full system lifecycle activities including integration, reliability, maintainability, and risk analyses.
• Support development/evaluation of cost estimates, and risk management per AFI 63-101.
• Support test planning, readiness reviews, acceptance testing, and certification activities.
• Provide training systems engineering support including simulation systems, hardware/software integration, and information assurance accreditation.
• Develop, review, and manage technical documentation and program briefings in DoD/Air Force policy compliance.
