Job summary

M1 Global in Santa Monica, CA, seeks a Training and Quality Assurance Manager to own onboarding, credential currency, and the QA program across two operations centers. You supervise neither area, sample and score per published rubrics, and report client-facing results within five business days.

The role drives calibration, rubric integrity, coaching, and corrective action, while building curricula for analytic tradecraft and console operations.

Qualifications

• Experience: Six or more years in security operations, including three years building or running a training program, a quality assurance program, or both.
• Rubric design: You have designed a scored quality rubric and administered it.
• Dual assessment: Ability to assess both written analytical product and operational incident documentation.
• Adult learning: Curriculum design and delivery for adult learners in an operational environment.
• Certification management: Experience tracking credential currency across a team with hard expiry dates.
• Candor: Willingness to deliver an unflattering finding to a supervisor, program executive or client.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
• Eligibility: Authorized to work in the United States; pass background and client-required screenings.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding pathway for both service areas from offer to first unsupervised shift.
• Track every credential against its clock and elevate before expiry.
• Schedule, fund and administer certification and recertification; maintain evidence records.
• Sample and score intelligence products per analyst and incident records per operator monthly.
• Score products and records for priority-one events; return scores within five business days.
• Run quarterly blind calibration; maintain and version rubrics.
• Deliver coaching with actionable remediation; own corrective action plans.
• Build and refresh curricula for analytical tradecraft and console operation; plan trainings.
