Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to oversee QA for the Survey Program, train staff, and develop training materials in alignment with Federal and State requirements. You will coordinate with the SCSB Manager, represent the agency at events, and ensure timely QA reviews across multiple facilities and providers.

Responsibilities include developing protocols, analyzing data, and implementing corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Four years of health care experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field can substitute on a year for year basis.
• Preference for completion of Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test.
• Proficient in ASPEN, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds (laptops, manuals, etc.).
• Knowledge of data collection and analysis.
• Knowledge of basic management principles and practices.
• Ability to organize data into logical format for reports and documents.
• Ability to conduct fact finding research.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to travel with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight, instruction, and development of Quality Assurance with the Survey Program.
• Serve as trainer in cooperation with Surveyor Training Programs.
• Develop and organize training materials for Federal and State mandated training.
• Provide cross-training with designated staff as assigned by SCSB Manager.
• Represent the Agency at meetings, trainings, and workshops.
• Serve as liaison.
• Support mandated workload through statewide surveys.
• Complete quality assurance reviews of Q-Tools/Imminent Danger deficiencies and related corrections.
• Back up IDR/IIDR coordination and participate as panelist.
• Monitor Immediate Jeopardy Deficiencies and generate reports for data requests.
• Implement corrective action to address QA inconsistencies.
• Review Federal QA data such as SPIRIT and SPSS Measure.
• Develop and revise protocols as assigned.
• Complete SODs/POCs/compliant reviews by due dates and conduct quarterly QA review.
• Complete project-based work including regulation reviews and policy updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
