New York City Department of Transportation seeks a Senior Training Coordinator to oversee scheduling of employees for Equipment and Safety trainings, with focus on Excel, the Learning Management System, and data-driven decision making.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION CANDIDATE MUST BE SERVING PERMANENTLY IN THE TITLE OF PRINCIPAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOCIATE, OR BE REACHABLE ON THE PRINCIPAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOCIATE CIVIL SERVICE LIST. Reporting directly to the Training Administration Manager, the Senior Training Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling of employees for Equipment and Safety trainings. This includes, but is not limited to working with Excel databases, and the Learning Management system, conducting analysis to support training decisions. The Senior Training Coordinator will manage vendor relations including requesting services, reviewing invoices and liaising with the training Fiscal Officer regarding payments and funding, manage operations at training facilities for night training, work with curriculum designers and trainers to design and evaluate Safety programs and New Hire Orientation for seasonal field staff, schedule employees agency wide for FISA trainings. The Senior Training Coordinator will supervise the work of the administrative team in the absence of the Training Administration Manager.
