Job summary

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking a Training Manager to oversee and advance training for the Houston Metro security operation.

The role ensures officers meet licensing standards, contractual requirements, and performance expectations through structured programs and evaluation. The position requires a decade of security experience with leadership in training, firearms/defensive tactics, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years combined experience in security, law enforcement, or military service, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or training leadership role.
• Valid Texas DPS commissioned security officer license required.
• Instructor certification preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience managing training programs for large scale or government supported security operations.
• Strong knowledge of weapons safety, use of force standards, and Texas licensing requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational and documentation capabilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate operational and training needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, coordination, and delivery of all training programs for Houston Metro operations.
• Develop and maintain training curricula for unarmed and armed officers, including onboarding, firearms qualification, use of force, defensive tactics, and emergency response.
• Ensure training content meets state, federal, contract, and Inter-Con Security requirements.
• Provide leadership and supervision to Training Instructors and staff; manage performance and scheduling.
