Job summary

IMA Financial Group seeks a Senior Training and Development Specialist to lead our training, development and coaching program for new hires and service teams. You will design and deliver programs to maximize client service quality, compliance, and operational efficiency while articulating department standards.

The role requires instructional design expertise, metrics-driven analysis, and the ability to work across virtual and in-person settings with some travel within our service area.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years training, development and facilitation experience.
• Experience preparing training materials in various formats.
• Active Property & Casualty License within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Senior Training and Development Specialist

Our Personal Lines Division is currently seeking a Senior Training and Development Specialist whose primary role is to lead the training, development and coaching program for our new hires and service team members.

• Our training program aims to maximize team potential, client service quality, and operational efficiency while ensuring compliance.
• You will be an expert in the topics and workflows being trained on and will articulate and reinforce department standards.
• The T&D Specialist will track new hire training progress, monitoring work and performance in areas of product, sales, workflow, teamwork and customer service and will provide coaching in areas requiring additional focus towards success.
• The ideal candidate possesses a solid grasp of instructional design principles and their practical application, coupled with proven expertise in developing and analyzing metrics to assess training effectiveness and impact.
• While this position has the flexibility to be primarily remote, your willingness to travel within our service area to deliver in-person training, collaboration and team building is essential to the success of this position

What You Bring:

• Deep technical experience in the Property and Casualty Industry is required. Experience working with Agency Management Systems, specifically Applied Epic, is a plus.
• An active Property & Casualty License is required within the first 90 days of hire and must be maintained.
• A minimum three-to-five years training, development and facilitation experience including preparing training materials in a variety of instructional formats.
• Creative self-starter who seeks opportunities to engage others and accomplish meaningful work.
• Someone who effectively manages multiple initiatives while collaborating effectively in a virtual and in-person setting.

Salary Range

$70,000—$90,000 USD
