Job summary

Nationwide Trailers in Mesa, AZ is seeking an Experienced Service Technician to diagnose and repair trailers with accuracy and safety. You will work with minimal supervision, own repairs, and contribute to shop productivity while communicating clearly for invoicing and customer updates.

Responsibilities include mechanical, electrical, brake, axle, and wiring repairs; diagnosing issues; completing work orders; installing parts; and performing safety inspections.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of mechanical repair experience in trailers, automotive, equipment, or similar fields.
• Working knowledge of trailer systems including wiring, brakes, axles, suspensions, and structural components.
• Ability to read and follow work orders independently.
• Dependable work habits and professional communication.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform mechanical, electrical, brake, axle, and wiring repairs according to company standards.
• Diagnose issues accurately and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
• Complete assigned work orders efficiently with a focus on quality and first-time fixes.
• Install parts, accessories, and equipment as required.
• Conduct safety inspections and identify worn or damaged components.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Provide timely updates on job status, additional labor needs, or delays.
• Request parts and supplies early to avoid workflow interruptions.
