Job summary

PRIME AE Group is seeking a Senior Roadway Engineer/Project Manager to lead Ohio transportation design efforts from our Columbus or Akron offices. You will guide urban and rural roadway projects, manage scopes, schedules, and client relationships, and mentor engineers across disciplines.

You will bring a PE license, 10+ years of highway design/PM experience, and proficiency in Civil 3D/OpenRoads. This is a leadership role with growth opportunities in a national firm with local Ohio impact.

Qualifications

• BS Civil Engineering required (ABET accredited).
• Active PE license is required.
• 10+ years of progressive highway design and project management experience.
• Experience delivering ODOT projects preferred.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and OpenRoads Designer.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, design, and delivery of roadway and highway projects.
• Lead project delivery, manage scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain client relationships and contribute to proposals and pursuits.
• Ensure compliance with AASHTO/ODOT standards and best practices.
