Stanley Consultants in the Greater Orlando Area is seeking a Senior Traffic Studies/Planning Engineer to lead complex traffic studies, transportation planning, analysis, and safety initiatives. You will help grow the Transportation practice in Central Florida and manage key client relationships.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, a Florida PE license or ability to obtain one quickly, and certifications such as PTOE or RSP; strong communication and project-management skills are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in traffic engineering, planning, studies, or related.
• Florida PE license or ability to obtain quickly.
• PTOE or RSP certification valued.
• FDOT experience and client relationship exposure.
• Project management and business development experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage traffic studies, transportation planning, traffic analysis, and traffic engineering projects.
• Provide technical leadership on complex transportation assignments and deliverables.
• Develop, review, and present traffic analyses, reports, and recommendations.
• Lead transportation safety planning and related initiatives.
• Apply engineering judgement to operations and infrastructure challenges; perform QA on deliverables.
• Support development of engineering standards, policies, and procedures.
