The City of Springfield is seeking a Senior Signal Technician to lead the repair and maintenance of solid state traffic control equipment, ITS field hardware, and interconnect systems. You will work with independence on complex repairs and supervise or assist as needed in a fast-paced municipal setting.

Underfill as Signal Technician is available with appropriate electronics education and experience. Certifications from IMSA/ISMA are required for advancement and licensing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or related field.
• Three years' experience including two years with traffic signal maintenance/repair.
• OR an Associate's degree in Electronics with five years' experience including four years with traffic signals.
• OR seven years of electronics-related experience with at least four years assisting traffic signal work.

Responsabilités

• Perform senior-level work on assembly, installation, maintenance and repair of traffic control equipment.
• Exercise judgment on complex signal repair tasks and work independently.
• Underfill option applies with related experience in signal maintenance.

Bachelor's Degree in Electronics

Associate's Degree in Electronics

Seven years of experience combination (education/training/experience)
