Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Traffic Analysis Project Manager (PE) to lead private traffic studies and drive business growth in the Charlotte and Raleigh markets. The role requires a PE license in NC, a strong civil/transportation background, and 8+ years of traffic experience within a team-driven environment.

You will mentor staff, manage projects from concept to completion, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality, client-focused results. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or transportation engineering from an accredited university.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in North Carolina.
• 8+ years of traffic transportation experience.
• Experience managing and mentoring staff.
• Experience with project management, proposals, and business development.
• Existing contacts and strong relationships with private sector development clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment is essential.
• Strong active listening and team building skills.
• Possess valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate client relationships in private transportation markets to grow Charlotte/Raleigh business.
• Lead and manage private traffic analysis projects from concept to completion.
• Drive growth through proposals and strategic networking.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality results and client satisfaction.
• Work with contractors and owners on innovative construction staging approaches.
• Provide technical guidance on traffic engineering standards to junior staff.
