Dewberry is seeking a Senior Traffic/ITS Engineer based in Orlando, FL to support transportation design initiatives and FDOT projects. The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of Traffic/ITS design experience, preferably with FDOT.
• Florida Professional Engineering (PE) license, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong desire to be an important member of a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engineer-of-Record, Senior Engineer, and/or Project Manager for Traffic sub-disciplines.
• Perform engineering analyses and traffic modeling tasks.
• Collaborate with Discipline Leaders and Project Managers.
• Prepare marketing materials and lead for project pursuits.
• Oversee design and mentor engineers.
• Conduct QC reviews of analyses and plans.
• Build relationships with transportation clients across Florida.
