Job summary

DRMP is expanding its transportation engineering practice in the Carolinas and Virginia. We seek a Senior Traffic Engineering Project Manager, PE to lead traffic studies, PE-backed design, and client-focused project delivery in Raleigh, NC.

The role blends technical leadership, project management, quality control, and business development with mentorship for staff and growth opportunities within DRMP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 7–10+ years of progressive experience with public/private sector projects.
• PE licensure in the work state and track record in traffic studies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee traffic studies and traffic impact analyses through life cycle with QA.
• Lead and mentor Project Managers, Engineers, and Interns.
• Develop and manage project fees, costs, schedules, and performance metrics.
• Support marketing with opportunities and client interactions.
• Coordinate with private/public sector clients across multiple projects.
