Job summary

Dynamic Engineering Consultants, PC in New Jersey seeks a Project Manager to lead traffic analysis assignments, supervise production, and act as the project manager for traffic studies and engineering design. You will collaborate with the Principal to pursue transportation planning contracts, manage budgets, timelines, and client relationships, and present at meetings and public hearings.

Required: BS in Civil Engineering, 7+ years in traffic/transportation engineering, PE license (PTOE

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 7+ years of experience in traffic/transportation engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required.
• PTOE is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Experience with traffic signal design and timing is required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and traffic software is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of traffic studies and design plans including infrastructure, signal, lighting, signing, and pavement markings.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and project objectives for traffic operations contracts.
• Prepare technical reports such as traffic impact analyses and present findings.
• Communicate with clients and attend project meetings and public hearings.
• Supervise engineers and staff, mentor team members, and coordinate with sub-consultants.
• Support business development and client relationships to pursue new projects.
• Coordinate with other divisions on traffic engineering tasks as needed.
• Oversee software analyses using CORSIM, HCS, SYNCHRO, and VISSIM.
