Job summary

WSP USA in New Jersey seeks a senior traffic engineering leader to oversee multi-site project investigation, remediation, analysis, and design of roadways, traffic signals, and network performance, guiding projects from concept to construction.

The role requires extensive experience in design standards, QA/QC, risk management, stakeholder coordination with NJDOT/NJTA and county agencies, and mentoring staff, with emphasis on future-ready transportation solutions.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for data collection and analysis from sites, surveys, GIS data, and maps.
• Apply high-level civil and traffic engineering techniques to improve project phases from concept to construction.
• Lead traffic engineering scope across CD, PE, FD and construction phases for NJDOT/NJTA/County projects.
• Develop and design innovative concepts for large-scale intersection and corridor improvements.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance and mentoring for staff.
